EdenHub
Security & Data Governance

Every party has its own data rights — not one rule for everyone

For farms, production data is an asset. For enterprises, sale prices and output volumes are trade secrets. For buyers, only what's cleared for sharing is visible. Access is governed per relationship, not by a single switch.

Isolated at the database layer

Every farm and cooperative gets its own data space. The boundary isn't enforced in the interface — it's built into the storage layer itself, so even on shared infrastructure, one organization can never query another's data.

Sharing with a cooperative is optional, and can be switched off

Members can turn production data sharing with their cooperative on or off at any time. Switch it off, and the cooperative can't see it — no hidden exception for administrators.

Financial data is never shared

Sale prices, costs, and profit are private business information. The sharing gate with a cooperative only opens production data — plots, seasons, field logs, growing area codes — never finances.

Encrypted in transit

Every connection to EdenHub runs over TLS. Data in transit can't be read if it's intercepted along the way.

Field logs are evidence — never quietly edited

An approved field log can't be silently overwritten. If it's wrong, a correction is filed on top — the original stays intact, and who changed what is recorded — because this is the record you present to an auditor.

Detecting cloned labels

Every traceability QR code has its scan count and location tracked. A code scanned an unusual number of times, in multiple places, in a short window gets flagged for review.

Data rights, per party

Who sees what, and who decides

Farm

Owns its own logs, records and certifications. Your data stays yours even after leaving an organization — it switches to read-only, it isn't deleted.

Organization (cooperative / enterprise)

Only sees a member's production data once the member turns sharing on. Never has access to a member's financial data, under any circumstance.

Buyer

Only sees the data made public on the traceability page — field logs, harvest date, certifications. Never sees sale prices or internal information.
